Czech pay-TV operator Nová Digi has secured the multimedia broadcast rights to Spain’s La Liga and becomes the latest operator to secured the media rights to the English Premier League, in a three-year package.
The deal for La Liga starts immediately and expires at the end of 2017/2018 season campaign. La Liga matches will be available on Digi Sport 3 and Digi Sport 4.
The Premier league deal starts with the 2016/17 season and it will also begin offering its customers digitala access via its internet portal and mobile apps, which is very popular in the region.
The Premier League is currently in the midst of its international broadcast rights sale. The League expects to raise the revenue up to UK£3 billion in total for the three-year period.
