Goals, goals, goals or the recent record of Arsenal vs Liverpool

Arsenal vs Liverpool – there are few fixtures that stand for spectacle like this Premier League classic does. The last five duels between the Gunners and the Reds featured incredible 27 goals with every single match delivering at least four goals! And that is hardly surprising if you take a look at both attacking lines. Arsenal fields the top strikers Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, which are supported by a creative midfield featuring Mesut Özil, Aaron Ramsey and Henrik Mkhitaryan. But Liverpool’s offensive packs a punch, too.

The front three composed of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mané and last year’s Premier League top scorer Mohamed Salah is always good for a goals galore. Arsenal can tell you a thing or two about it. The Londoners conceded 17 goals in the last five matches against Liverpool and couldn’t manage to rack up a victory against the Reds since April 2015. But the Gunners have an ace up their sleeve: Unai Emery. The Spaniard coaches Arsenal since this season and already managed to deal a painful defeat to Liverpool. In 2016 he led his former club Sevilla to European glory when they beat the Reds 3:1 in the Europa League final. Will he be able to repeat this victory with the Gunners? This question will be answered at the Emirates on November 3.
