NBA signs digital partnership in UK

NBA has entered into a digital media partnership in the UK market with the GiveMeSport platform. The deal will result in the launch of GiveMeSport.com/NBA, the league’s new official online destination in the UK.

The site GiveMeSport.com/NBA, which will be launched soon, will feature a multimedia content including a range of videos, highlights, behind scenes fotos and real-time statistics.

Video highlights will include individual games and also the Top 10 Plays of the Day, which is very popular among basketball fans.

This deal is great for GiveMeSport, because according internal reserch, 50% of their 25 million fans on Facebook like the NBA official site or interact on particular ways with teams, current players or NBA legends.

NBA.com averages in excess of 42 million page views a day, with more than half those coming from outside of North America.
