EHF European Championship takes place from 15. to 31. January in Poland. Final match will be held on 31 january 2016 in Tauron Arena, Krakow.

Denmark is the team with most medals won in European Championship history with a total of six medals, those being two gold medals (2008, 2012), one silver (2014) and three bronze medals (2002, 2004 & 2006).

“After several years without sport on TV3, we have chosen to show all Norwegian matches on TV3. Viasat4 will remain our main channel for sport but handball Championship is a national event and we want to send Norges matches on our main channel TV3” Morten Micalsen, the head of Modern Times Group in Norway, told for the Kampanje media website.

The 2016 EHF European Men's Handball Championship (12th tournament) will be held for the first time in Poland from 15–31 January 2016.

Croatia and Norway were the other applicants in the bidding process. Poland was awarded the championship on the EHF Congress in Monaco on 23 June 2012.

Sportdeutschland.tv shows all matches of the European Handball Championship 2016, which will take place in Poland from 15 to 31 January 2016.
