Wimbledon fans in Germany will have to wait on FTA (free-to-air) television pictures from the All England Lawn Tennis Club. Wimbledon and SkyGermany have agreed coverage until and including the year 2018. In addition to the TV broadcasting rights, the agreement also includes the exclusive internet, IPTV and mobile rights. Sky Sports boss Burkhard Weber said: “With its unique mix of tradition and world class athleticism, Wimbledon is one of the highlights of every sports year.
